“There’s a story within each person, motivating every action, filling the moment. Our beliefs, our experiences, weave together to create the story of our lives.”
-C.K. Kochis
I am a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach guiding women with a strong desire to participate in their life. This part of my journey began when I, too, felt the need to change my life and do what comes natural to me instead of muddling and waiting for something to happen.
In January 2016, I graduated from the Institute For Integrative Nutrition. Combining my life experiences and coaching knowledge, we co-create a personalized action steps based on your goals to move you towards your ideal vision of health and lifestyle.
On May 22, 2016, I published the first issue of Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine, a digital magazine with a free subscription. Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine is a life enhancing, health wellness magazine dedicated to sharing first-person stories of transformation, wellness tools and professional insight and healthy recipes. It features articles about the workplace, relationships, body movement, spirituality, in the kitchen…and much more. It’s a guide for people who are ready to transform their lives, mind, body, and spirit, through the exploration of the elements for a healthier life. Health and wellness goes well beyond the food we consume to nourish our precious bodies.
On April 10, 2017, my oldest son died and flip my world upside down. It was with a heavy heart that I announced on December 8th my decision to put Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine and UnBox Your Kitchen Podcast on hiatus. Grief is my block. It has been mentioned on more occasions than I dare count that my purpose is to heal other individuals that have lost a child through my writing. As they say, “You will heal your grief as you help others to heal theirs.” I understand life is not all daisies, unicorns and sunshine, however, through this experience I have a deeper understanding of what Self-Love truly is. During the week of January 15, 2018, I announced I am ready to get back to work! I have metaphorically turned on the Open For Business sign. How can I support you with your website, book layouts, and etcetera?
The journey of writing a memoir, fictional, and non-fictional book is not for the weary. There is an alchemy to weaving words into story form. The first episode of Pen to Paper Press Podcast broadcast on February 3, 2021.
I am talking with authors, writers, editors, publishers, and an array of creative souls to have a conversation centered on how they developed their stories to completing their works of art. Together, we explore mindsets, pearls of wisdom, and the experiences that began our journey as an author from the moment we put pen to paper. I cannot think of a better way to share our love of writing.
