The Adventure Begins

Since the decision to sell my home of twenty-six years, the Universe is showing me there is grand opportunity out there waiting for me. I don’t have a plan, and often times unclear of where I am going next until I put my truck in drive (even then my destination has changed once on the highway). Life is an amazing adventure…

In Her Words…

“I started reading Cindy’s blog The Adventure Begins back in August 2018 around the time Cindy sold her house and have returned each week since to vicariously enjoy the Adventure and admire the images that make me feel I am along in the camper as a co-passenger.

What I love about Cindy’s writing is its simplicity and adeptness in recreating the scenery of the story post. But these aren’t just entries in a journal but a living story of a person who sells a home of 26 years, still grieving for a beloved son and learning to enjoy life and its mini-wonders and sharing her experiences from an empowered perspective that compels the reader to pause and reflect on their daily life and how meaningful even the smallest interactions can be.”

The Adventure Begins

I am embarking on an adventure of a lifetime. I was presented the opportunity to change my typical lifestyle to that of a nomad.

Nomad – noun – a person who moves from one place to another rather than living in one place all of the time.

My creativity is flowing and it feels good to be putting pen to paper. I look forward to sharing my personal insights, pearls of wisdom and stories from the road.

Life is an amazing adventure; it was never intended to be lived in gray-scale.
