Pen To Paper

“There is power within our words. They can empower us, defeat our ambitions and bleed an ink pen dry. Each one of us has a unique story to share. Our pearls of wisdom can liberate and transform the life of one person, maybe even a thousand. We are here to be heard, to guide, to live life in motion and explore the elements for a healthier life! So put pen to paper and #SHINEON!!”

Call When You Think Of Me

Our intuition is a gift that is often times ignored. I know there's been times when I've shushed my inner voice and regretted it later. Often when I run into people at the grocery store and on the rare occasion I'm at a social event, friends will say, "I was just...

You have my FULL permission to feel what you feel when you feel it. And don't you dare stifle your emotions because it makes someone else uncomfortable. Let those tears flow, damn it! For those of you who know of me via the masks of social media and blog posts, and to...

The Journey to UnBoxing

I grew up in a time when high schoolers had to take either home-ed(ucation), shop or band class in order to graduate. I already knew how to cook and sew by that age, and learning how to make a foot stool didn't interest me at all. I chose to play the clarinet and step...

Who I Am

I am told to quit playing it small. But who am I to play it BIG? I'm the woman you see in the grocery store counting up the value of the items and debating what goes in the cart or what I have to walk past. I'm the woman who checks her checking account hoping she...

How I Said Good-bye

It's that heartbreaking moment when you know. You just know it. But how can it be? You don't want to know it, or feel it, or even accept that change has happened. One of the hardest parts of being an empath is knowing when a close relationship has shifted and the...

As You Are

Our voice is more than verbal communication. It is our body language, how we dress, our attitude, the words we select, and the way we convey expression. Several months after I published the first issue of Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine, a friend, who is in the...

The Adventure Begins

I am embarking on an adventure of a lifetime. I was presented the opportunity to change my typical lifestyle to that of a nomad.

Nomad – noun – a person who moves from one place to another rather than living in one place all of the time.

My creativity is flowing and it feels good to be putting pen to paper. I look forward to sharing my personal insights, pearls of wisdom and stories from the road.
