Welcome to my life as a digital magazine publisher, author, coach, virtual assistant, lumber-Jackie (yes, I cut, haul, split, stack my own firewood), and one very sassy redhead.
I am a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach guiding women with a strong desire to participate in their life. This part of my journey began when I, too, felt the need to change my life and do what comes natural to me instead of muddling and waiting for something to happen.
In January of 2016, I graduated from the Institute For Integrative Nutrition. Combining my life experiences and coaching knowledge, we co-create a personalized action steps based on your goals to move you towards your ideal vision of health and lifestyle.
On May 22, 2016, I published the first issue of Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine, a digital magazine with a free subscription. Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine is a life enhancing, health wellness magazine dedicated to sharing first-person stories of transformation, wellness tools and professional insight and healthy recipes. It features articles about the workplace, relationships, body movement, spirituality, in the kitchen...and much more. It’s a guide for people who are ready to transform their lives, mind, body, and spirit, through the exploration of the elements for a healthier life. Health and wellness goes well beyond the food we consume to nourish our precious bodies.
On April 10, 2017, my oldest son died and flip my world upside down. It was with a heavy heart that I announced on December 8th my decision to close Elements For A Healthier Life Magazine. Grief is my block; I no longer have the energy it takes to publish the digital magazine nor be an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach or virtual assistant. It has been mentioned on more occasions than I dare count that my purpose is to heal other individuals that have lost a child through my writing. As they say, "You will heal your grief as you help others to heal theirs." I feel it's inappropriate to continuously bring people down energetically and emotionally with my sob story. No one should have to bare witness to the pain of loosing a child. I understand life is not all daisies, unicorns and sunshine, but no one should be repeatedly exposed to what I feel.
"There's a story within each person, motivating every action, filling the moment. Our beliefs, our experiences, weave together to create the story of our lives." -C.K. Kochis
